Cross Country Competition Flying Opportunities
|
For youngsters who wish to take their flying further with the
Foundation and experience the excitement and adventure of flying
in a cross country gliding competition, the Faulkes Flying
Foundation has entered the DG505 Orion 2 Seat Training Gliders
in the Dunstable and Lasham Regionals.
It is intended that interested youngsters should have the opportunity
to fly in the 2nd seat to experience a racing cross country flight
which will typically last over 2 hours and possibly as much as 4
hours, covering distances of several hundred kms.
The competion dates for 2004 will be posted when available and
interested parties should contact Mike Woollard as soon as possible
to register their interest.
Cost £50 a day with bursary support possible.
